Caoimhe Heavey is a 13-year-old freestyle skier from Fernie, British Columbia. She strives to be a positive role model for the younger skiers in her club and dreams of representing Canada one day. Caoimhe has won numerous provincial titles including slopestyle gold and a bronze in moguls at the 2017 Alberta Provincial Championships. We are thrilled to award the Up and Coming Scholarship to Caoimhe and wish her luck in the upcoming season.
Finn Finestone, a 14-year-old snowboarder form Whistler, British Columbia, is our 2nd winner of the Up and Coming Scholarship. He loves to be outside biking, fishing and snowboarding, and volunteers with Salmon Conservation and river clean ups. Finn’s been competing for 5 years and won gold at the BC Snowboard Slopestyle tour in 2017. We look forward to watching his career progress. Congratulations Finn!
